What is Pilates?

Pilates is a series of exercises that are low impact and are done in a slow and controlled manner in a flowing motion. The classes can be either mat based (on the floor) or on specialist equipment.

What is the benefit of doing Pilates?

Pilates exercises are designed to improve postural alignment, targeting deep core muscles and improving overall muscle strength and tone. Pilates also uses breathing techniques and can reduce stress as well as improving mobility and flexibility.
